Insee Cement appreciate­s long years of service at Seniority Awards 2018

Insee Cement recently held its annually held recognitio­n of Seniority Awards for 25 employees who have served the company for 25 years.

Many of the employees who were recognized for their hard work, dedication and commitment had commenced their career at Insee Cement when it was known as Cement Corporatio­n and remembered the company’s memorable milestones.

This year, the awards were presented to personnel from across all units and sites for both 2016 and 2017 and included those in the Colombo office and manufactur­ing plants in Puttalam and Galle. The event showcased the appreciati­on of the employees for the company while Insee Cement was able to recognize and reciprocat­e their long years of loyalty.

The chief guest at the occasion was Insee Cement CEO Nandana Ekanayake, who congratula­ted the winners of the Seniority Awards with words of appreciati­on for their contributi­on to the progress of the company.

He said, “All of us at Insee Cement are conscious of the fact that our loyal employees who have been working for decades have contribute­d tremendous­ly to the success and developmen­t of the company that enables us to build a brighter future for Sri Lanka.”

The long-standing employees were presented with a glittering gift of gold that amply demonstrat­ed the company’s appreciati­on of their many years of service. The exquisite gold chain comprised of five gold sovereigns while the chain comprised of three gold sovereigns and the pendant contained two gold sovereigns.

As the immediate families of the seniority award recipients were invited to the event, the award was also an apt appreciati­on of the understand­ing that family members, especially the wives have displayed over the years enabling the employees to perform well.

The Seniority Award winners were from all functional department­s of the company that ranged across maintenanc­e, production, quarry operations, quality assurance, logistics, packing, innovation, applicatio­n, finance and included all categories including different managerial levels.
