Maliban Biscuits win MSCA T/20 ‘A’ Division Final
Maliban Biscuits defeated Eskimo Fashion Knit Wear by six wickets to win the ‘A’ Division T/20 final conducted by the Mercantile Softball Cricket Association grounds at the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute, Ratmalana.
Batting first Eskimo Fashion Knit Wear were dismissed for 82 runs. Batting at number seven was Rasanga top scored for Eskimo Fashion with 20 runs while Tharindu bowled best for Maliban to bag three wickets for eleven runs.
Maliban in reply reached their target with six wickets in hand with Tharindu top scoring with an unbeaten 33 runs.
The winners received the Champions Trophy and Sixteen Replicas, while the runners-up also received a Trophy and Sixteen Replicas.
