WENA GOEIYANA

“Firstly I want to thank the organisers for inviting me for this pageant as a judge. During the judging process we had so much fun. The winner deserves the title and I wish her all the best.”

BENNETT RATHNAYAKE

“I feel that all the girls had confidence. During the competition they learned from different experts. During thier training for the pageant they were groomed to be stronger women.”

NALAKA HEWAMADDUMA

“All the girls were really smart and all of them wanted to give out their best. They accepted the winner without a problem. We all looked at a person who could represent Sri Lanka and I think Nadia is capable of it. Her project too is quite amazing.”

VEENA JAYAKODY

“We had to consider many criteria, not just beauty. So it was quite a challenging experience being a judge. Initially they weren’t very confident but with the training they came out of their shelves and faced the pageant well.”

JOHANN PEIRIS

“The standard of the competition has improved. Even the girls faced it with much confidence. Their personalities were quite impressive and it wasn’t an easy selection.”

KAY NG

“It was a great honour to be one of the judges for Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2018. This year was very tough because they were very intelligent apart from the fact that they were all beautiful. We need to choose the right person to compete with contestants from around the world.”
