SUSILA KURAGAMA

The 75th birth anniversary of veteran actress Susila Kuragama who was better known as Kopi Kade Ensina, falls on October 14. 1943-born Susila made her stage debut in GDL Perera’s ‘Sakkara Wattang’ drama and followed it up with many plays. Having made her film debut in Deepanjali, Susila later acted in Raktha, Hitha Honda Chandiya, Wije Saha Aje, Cherrio Darling, Kawda Bole Alice and several other movies. Susila who also produced a few stage plays, became a household name following the role of Ensina she played in the Kopi Kade series.
