SIAM holds meeting with Ceylon Motor Traders’ Association
A twenty-member delegation from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) held a very fruitful meeting with The Ceylon Motor Traders’ Association (CMTA) recently.
SIAM is the apex industry body representing leading vehicle and vehicular engine manufacturers in India while the CMTA represent the manufacturers of the global brands of automobiles and motor bicycles.
SIAM has a long history of close working collaboration with the CMTA.
Welcoming the delegation, Sheran Fernando, Chairman CMTA Chairman stated that over 70 percent of local vehicle registrations were made up of Indian products and underlined the Association’s resolve to work together towards their mutual benefit. The delegation discussed a wide range of issues relating to developing their business relationships in Sri Lanka especially with the CMTA.
