EFL to sponsor Sri Lanka Referees Association
EFL (Expo Freight Ltd.) have come forward to sponsor the Referees Association of Sri Lanka for the upcoming 2018/19 Dialog Rugby League season. This was revealed at a media briefing held at the Havelock SC premises on November 7 along with the handing over of the new jersey for the referees.
Dialog Axiata PLC will be the main sponsors of the association while Kandurata, RBN, Srilankan Airlines and Thepapare.com are the co-sponsors.
Nizam Jamaldeen, President, Referees Association, said, “we would also like a voice for ourselves as the Referees are an important cog in the wheel of rugby and we also invite and encourage youngsters to join the referees fraternity.” One of the leading logistic providers in the country, EFL is a subgroup of Expolanka Pvt Ltd., and has been empowering sports for a long time. Expolanka is a reputed company among the leading companies in the island and has been the principal sponsors of Colombo FC. Expolanka will also be the proud sponsors of Havelock Sports Club for the new season, which is set to kick-off today.
