People’s Bank’s digital stall at Infotel 2018 captivates visitors
As the ‘Gold sponsor’ of Infotel 2018, Sri Lanka’s premier national ICT exposition and conference, People’s Bank installed a state-of-the-art People’s Digital Stall at the BMICH for the duration of the exhibition from November 2 to 4, 2018, to showcase its pioneering achievements in digital banking.
The bank’s partnership with Infotel 2018 is aligned to its own ambitious digitalisation journey towards becoming Sri Lanka’s Most Digitalised Bank by 2020. The People’s Bank’s digitised stall comprised of a fully-fledged digital branch - complete with a Self Banking Unit (CDM/ATM/KIOSK).
Reflecting a high level of digitisation for customer convenience, these facilities offer customers the comfort of seamless transactions. People’s Bank invited Infotel visitors to open digital accounts at the venue ad experience the popular People’s Wave mobile app, which offers an exclusive digitalised banking experience and enables banking on the go. There was a high level of interest among visitors who thronged to the People’s digital stall to learn more about the bank’s digital initiatives and how they enhance the overall banking experience.
People’s Bank has stepped forward as the Gold sponsor for Sri Lanka’s flagship ICT Expo, Infotel 2018, being held under the theme - ‘Towards a Digital Economy’. Infotel is Sri Lanka’s premier national ICT exposition and conference, organised and hosted by the Federation of IT Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) and was held from November 2 to 4, 2018.
