MEET ALVIN

While Alvin may have a huge part of Mumina’s heart, her love extends to all cats big or small. “Cats are the most beautiful animals that I know after dogs!” she explained. “I love cats so much , in fact I used to have 10 of them and now I have 5. I enjoy my time spent with them and they do too !”.

Q HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR PET?

Son of our other cat Dwana, who is a Persian as well ! That’s how we found him he was a tiny little yellow ball of fur that turned into a kitten .

Q WHAT’S THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME YOU’VE GIVEN?

Alvin was very tiny when he was born and very chubby and fat. We came up with the name Alvin since we used to love watching Alvin and the chipmunks and decided to name him so, yes it’s the most cliché naming methods ever. Even after 7 years he’s still fat and chubby.

Q WHAT ARE MEAL TIMES AND BATH TIMES LIKE?

They have their meals 5 times a day and when ever they are hungry they prefer nutranuggets , whiskas , Meows, and drools! They love marmite and kitzyme treats! They also love pasteurised milk! Like humans , Alvin has big moods, so knowing what mood he is in helps us decide what he would like!

Q WHAT’S HIS FAVOURITE THING TO DO?

Sleep and eat and cuddle with us! He loves to cuddle and fall flat on his tummy! He also really enjoys drinking water from the tap and getting attention .

Q WHAT’S THE NAUGHTIEST THING HE HAS DONE?

He tried to pee on my laptop when he was small.

Q HOW DOES HE REACT WHEN YOU RETURN HOME?

He runs towards me and wants me to pet him or give him a treat .

Q DOES HE DO ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY THAT FASCINATES YOU?

He cannot meow the full meow, he meows halfway like a meh.

Everything!

Once when we shifted homes, through panic he ran away to the neighbours place and the search was going on for weeks since he doesn’t know how to meow and didn’t respond to us calling out his name.
