Motorcyclist badly injured in head-on collision with bus

A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries when he was hit by a SLTB bus while travelling along the Badullaspring Valley Road last morning.

The victim, identified as an employee of a private company in Badulla, was heading toward the Spring Valley area when the accident took place.

He was admitted to the Badulla Teaching Hospital in a critical condition.

The Badulla Police Traffic Branch took the bus driver into custody.
