SL U-19 clinches Youth ODI Series
Sri Lanka Under-19 clinched the five-match ODI series against Bangladesh Under-19 by recording a 11-run win on the Duckworth and Lewis scoring method in the fifth ODI encounter played at the CMCC Grounds in Katunayake yesterday.
Sri Lanka Under-19, invited to take first lease of the wicket, scored 204 for seven from their allotted 50 overs spearheaded by a fine knock of 83 from Kamil Mishara.
The Bangladesh Under-19 innings was hampered by rain and the match was eventually called off due to bad light.
Bangladesh Under-19, during the stoppage had reached 80 for four after having faced 21 overs.
