SLFP Trade Union representatives meet

A special conference of the SLFP workers’ representatives chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena will be held at 12.00 noon today (12) at the Colombo Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.

Decision to hold this conference was taken at the TU leaders’ meeting held on Thursday which was led by Minsters Duminda Dissanayaka, Mahinda Amaraweera, MP Rohitha Abegunawardena and Lesley Devendra.

Priority to avoid conflicts and difference between the trade unions of both SLFP and SLPP parties were also stressed at the discussion.
