Transferred government servants in dilemma

A Large number of government servants who have been transferred have faced a difficult situation due to change of ministries after Mahinda Rajapaksa was appointed as Prime Minister.

They have not been able to go on transfer due to some departments of former ministries have been combined with other ministries.

For example, the government servants who had been given transfer orders to the Ministry of Higher Education and Cultural Affairs were unable to resume duties as there was no such ministry in existence. It was reported the government servants transferred to the Ministry of Public Administration, Management and Law and Order were unable to
