Two boys drowned in Mannar

Two boys aged seven years in Joseph Vas Nagar in Thottaveli, Mannar drowned after falling into a pool yesterday, Mannar Police said.

The two boys had got into a ditch where they got stuck in the mud and drowned, the police reveal. Dead boys are identified as Selvan Livison and Kanagaraj Rajith of Joseph Vas Nagar. Preliminary investigation reveals that the parents were not at home when the tragedy occurred. Bodies of the two boys have been sent to the Mannar Hospital for postmortem.
