Douglas Devananda receives rousing welcome in Jaffna

A rousing welcome was extended to the Minister of Resettlement and Northern Development, Douglas Devananda by the Jaffna people when he arrived at the Eelam People’s Democratic Party (EPDP) in Jaffna. He was received by the people of Vauniya and Mullaitivu as well on his way to Jaffna. The EPDP members expressed their satisfaction for offering a suitable portfolio to Douglas Devananda by the political leadership and said it would greatly fulfill the aspirations of the northern Tamil masses.
