TRADITIONAL PORTUGUESE DANCE & MUSIC

A musical event organized by the Burgher Folks titled An evening of traditional Portuguese dance and music will be held at the Dutch Burgher Union on coming Sunday, November 18 from 7 pm onwards. The show will demonstrate the history of Baila music through dance and music performed by the Batticaloa Portuguese dance troupe comprising a group of young singers and dancers from Batticaloa. The 1 hour duration show will be followed by music for dancing by Retro band Vision featuring Mariazelle and Damayantha Kuruppu.
