THE PEOPLE’S FIRST VICTORY
UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said in a twitter message that the people have won their first victory. “Let’s go forward and re-establish the sovereignty of the people in our beloved country,” he tweeted.
Meanwhile, the UNP said in its official twitter handle that they were looking forward to returning to Parliament and regaining control of the government that was illegally removed from their purview.
