Drowned

The body lying under a culvert on Elaboda Road in Ingiriya was recovered by the Police.

The deceased was identified as Susantha Dinesh Kumara (38) of Elabodawatte, Ingiriya.

The Police believe that he had drowned in the canal, but it was yet to be established.

The body was referred to Kalutara General Hospital in Nagoda for the postmortem examination.

Ingiriya Police are investigating.
