NDB celebrates Hindu festival of lights ‘Deepavali’

NDB Bank recently celebrated the Hindu festival of lights, Deepavali, at its Head Office Branch in Nawam Mawatha.

A series of Hindu religious observances were held invoking blessings followed by special dance performances and various entertainment events. The Festival of lights was celebrated amidst colour and beauty.

The NDB celebrates at least one religious event from each religion and culture – holding Ifthar ceremonies for Ramazan, Christmas parties for Christmas, Thaipongal celebrations and Vesak celebrations. The NDB Staff Recreational Club often organizes such events in order to encourage the bank’s employees, their spouses and families to be a part of the Bank via its many recreation activities. The bank’s ultimate goal is to ensure employee satisfaction to the maximum.
