Late start deprives Mahanama victory

A late start on day two spoiled the chances of Mahanama College, Colombo from recording an outright win against St. Mary’s College, Kegalle in their Under-19 Inter-schools Cricket Tournament encounter played at Ratmalana yesterday. Mahanama resuming from their overnight score of 169 for no loss faced only one over in the morning before heavy rain put a stoppage to the proceeding­s. St. Mary’s batting the second time were 118 for five when bad light stopped play once again. At Ratmalana (1st innings win for Mahanama)
