Kandy holds the edge over Police

Kandy Sports Club will take on Police Sports Club in their Dialog Inter-club League Rugby Tournament match at the Nittawela Stadium in Kandy on Sunday.

Kandy SC beat Air Force SC in their opening encounter last week.

However, Kandy SC led by Richard Dharmapala will miss the service of Sooriyabandara, Gayan Weeraratne, Atthanagoda, Dimitri Jude and Heshan Kalhara with all nursing injuries.

Kandy SC will depend on Yakoob Ali, Jason Dissanayake, Dhanushka Ranjan, Nigel Ratwatte, Richard Dharmapala, Lavanga Perera, Vishwamithra Jayasinghe and Thilina Wijesinghe.

Meanwhile, Police SC will be looking to produce another good performance after they lost to Navy SC by a single point last week.

Led by Chanaka Udara, they will be supported by Romesh Arachchige and the Fijian Emosi Vunivosa.
