Poultry farmer defrauding forage stores owner arrested

A poultry farmer who had purchased chicken feed from a trader in Medagama, Bibile on credit and had defrauded Rs.650, 000 is to be arrested by the police.

The trader had lodged a complaint with Monaragala Divisional Special Investigation Unit that the poultry farmer had not paid the money for the chicken feed he purchased as agreed.

When the police went to arrest the poultry farmer he had evaded arrest and fled the area.

Monaragala Police is conducting further inquiries.
