Dhananjaya makes motor vehicle with debris
A youngster named Dhananjaya Wimalaratne who lives in Atakalanpanna in Ambalanwatta has succeeded in making a modern motor vehicle with discarded plates using a trishaw engine. He said that he had to spend about 1 ½ months to make this vehicle using discarded parts of the vehicles while bringing them to proper shapes. He has fitted all parts required for a motor vehicle including gear system, steering wheel, four wheels, dash board, automatic brake system, electric lamps and reclining seats. This vehicle has been made so that four persons can travel by using very less amount of petrol as fuel. He said that the opportunities for this type of creations are limited and requested the authorities to grant necessary assistance to improve the standard of the vehicle.
