Colts, Galle, SSC advance into semis

Colts CC, Galle CC and SSC advanced into the semi-finals of the SLC Major Emerging League Cricket Tournament when they won their respective quarterfin­als over Moors SC, Bloomfield and Negombo CC on the first innings at Welisara, Maitland Crescent and P. Sara Oval yesterday.

Moors SC resuming from the overnight score of 88 for four were bowled out for 110 runs in reply to Colts CC’S first innings score of 251.

Meanwhile, Bloomfield in reply to Galle CC’S first innings score of 320 were restricted to 180 runs in reply.

SSC resuming from their overnight score of 173 for six went on to make 264 in reply to Negombo CC’S first innings score of 192.
