CELEBRATING LEENA’S BIRTHDAY

‘Mithuru Pedura’ - the musical evening featuring Toronto singer Nimal Samaranayake was also the occasion to celebrate the birthday of popular yesteryear film star Leena de Silva at the Swagat Banquet Hall in Toronto recently. The evening was spiced with music, dance and sumptuous Sri Lankan food. Film and music personalities like Chaminda Perera and Latha Dissanayake were among those present on the occasion. The evening ended with every one taking the floor and dancing the night away.
