Exchanges were even on the opening day of the InterSchools Under-19 Cricket Tournament encounter between St. Anthony’s College and Kingswood College which began at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy yesterday.

St. Aloysius’ College Galle scored a first-innings win over Dharmaraja College in their Under-19 Inter-schools Cricket Tournament encounter which concluded at Lake View in Kandy yesterday.

Dharmaraja: 134 in 55.3 overs (Mithila Gayashan 35, Niduka Samarasekara 3/28) and 54/2 in 14 overs (Shashintha Senanayaka 23 n.o)

St. Aloysius’: 168 in 60.3 overs (Ravindu Kanchana 44, Kavindu Dilhara 51, Chathura Prabash 26, Sahan Siriwardana 5/37, Navinda Dilshan 3/14).
