TOURISTS NEED BASIC FACILITIES

The Lonely Planet, the highly respected travel guide book in Australia has named Sri Lanka is one of the best countries in the wold to visit in 2019.

The Prime Minister making a special statement in this regard said that we have to work to bring our country’s tourism industry to the highest level during that period. Although, tourism industry brings more foreign exchange to the country it seems that poor attention was drawn by the authorities to the toilets which is very essential to the travellers whether they are local or foreign when they want to answer a call of nature while they are travelling. It is a basic need of every human being but in our country there are no public toilets in the town areas.
