Unilever Sri Lanka Alumni Association Annual General Meeting tomorrow

The fourth Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Alumni Association of Unilever Sri Lanka will be held tomorrow at the Kingsbury Hotel, commencing at 6.30 p.m. The AGM will be followed by the annual fellowship dinner of the past employees of Unilever and their spouses. The Association was formed in October 2014, and is celebrating its 4th anniversary. Unilever Alumni has a membership in excess of 900 residing in Sri Lanka and abroad and many overseas members time their visits to Colombo to coincide with the Fellowship Dinner. The objective of the Association is to promote fellowship and goodwill amongst the Ex Unileverites. Membership of the association is open to former staff of Unilever Sri Lanka which includes Lever Brothers Ceylon Ltd., Brooke Bond, Lipton and Cey-tea.

The current Executive Committee consists of President - Chirath Weerage, Immediate Past President - Priyantga Kolonnage, Vice President - Edgar Tavarayan, Secretary - Asita Abayasekera, Treasurer Charles Samuel, Committee - Dinesh Hamangoda, Winston D’olivera, Palitha Kodituwakku, Srilal Wijesekera, Clement Pereira and Member Auditor - Chamila Cooray. Tickets priced at Rs.2500 per head are available with the Excom members and former Treasurer Asoka Weerasekera.
