MY UNDYING HOPE OF BEING LOVED

-

It’s been 2 months and still not a call to adopt both, my little girl and I.

I was a street dog who found shelter at a warehouse in Wattala and I had 3 little girls too. My 3 girls as any pup would be, were extremely naughty & bit a few goods at the warehouse.

The warehouse owners were very angry and ordered us to be dumped. one night in the pouring rain we were all taken away and dumped close to the Harbour.

I was really nervous and scared.

I kept running all over the streets searching for shelter.

One of my pups nearly drowned in a canal close by and luckily a navy guard rescued her. My other pup met with an accident and had a severe injury on her leg and was unable to walk. Finally I found shelter at a yard. A kind worker gave me and my pups some food it was not enough to fill our hunger.

For some luck, the lady who kept a tab on my family heard of what had happened through the warehouse workers and located us after days. We were finally rescued.

She got us all vaccinated, sterilised & dewormed.

She rehomed 2 of my little girls. I did not want to part with them, but I knew that she was trying to give them a better life, a life that I could not provide for them.

Even though some people told her to rehome my last girl and to leave me back on the road, she’s determined to find both of us, a forever home.

She knows that I’m really close to my youngest girl, the one who met with an accident as we share a strong unbreakable bond and now my little girl can walk and her leg injury has healed. I’m 1 & a half years old and my little girl is 4-5 months and loves to smile away.

If you can open a tiny place in your heart and home for us, please call Sahana on 0777567122
