WATERS EDGE REDEFINES

Waters edge has done it again! Bringing on some Bavarian madness they pieced together an amazing set up for their annual Oktoberfest event titled “Oktoberfest on the Edge 18“held at the Arcade Independence Square. Keeping to the true German spirit of things the location was decorated beautifully to give off a very festival like vibe. In collaboration with Ceylon Breweries this event was beyond perfect, and the organising team made it work despite the downpour, you could say Water’s Edge wasn’t deterred by water at all!

The selection of beverages was what you would expect at an Oktoberfest event, with a few new versions of the festival favourite “Beer” but what really stood out to us was the large buffet comprising of the best selection of meats we’ve seen in a long time! Not to mention Waters Edge had gone so far as to make pretzels which is something I’ve never had before. That being said, if you’re a newbie to the Oktoberfest scenario, do consider heading on over to the Waters Edge rendition of the festival, it’s a perfectly put together, decent and it’s an exciting experience. This year Waters Edge featured the energetic Magic Box Mixup Band for entertainment, and we can assure you there was not a single moment during the event where the floor was not filled with people moving to the grooves of Magic Box Mixup.

Also let us not forget to mention the fun games on the fringes of the festival which allowed you to peddle for your drinks!

All in all “Oktoberfest on the Edge 18“was a classy and safe space to be at. It was everything a festival should be and more. The food was exceptional, their beverages were abundant and their entertainment was on point! Of course you shouldn’t have to take our word for it!
