Mahinda and Ranil in Kandy seeking blessings

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday visited the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy and paid floral tribute to the sacred Tooth Relic. He was welcomed by Chief Administration Officer of the Sri Dalada Maligawa and the Deputy Lekhakadhikari of the Asgiriya Chapter Ven Narampanawe Ananda Thera invoke blessings.

Meanwhile, UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe met the Chief Prelate of Malwatte Chapter Most Ven .thibbotuwawe Sri Siddartha Sumangala Thera last Saturday morning and discussed with him the current political situation in the country. Media was not allowed to cover the discussion.

He also met Most Ven. Warakagoda Sri Gnanaratana Thera of the Asgiri Chapter and had a full private discussion.
