BANGLADESH NDC TEAM ARRIVES IN SRI LANKA

A26-member student officer delegation of the Bangladesh National Defence College (NDC), led by Senior Staff Officers of the NDC arrived in Sri Lanka on Sunday evening for a familiariz­ation tour as part of their study programme at the Bangladesh NDC. During their ten-day stay in Sri Lanka the delegation is expected to call on the Defence Secretary, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army, Commander of the Navy and Commander of the Air Force and visit Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute of Internatio­nal Relations and Strategic Studies (LKIIRSS), Defence Service Command and Staff College at Sapugaskan­da, Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), Bangladesh High Commission and several other institutes. They will also visit places of historical, cultural and religious interest towards the latter part of their itinerary in the island.

The 26-member delegation, headed by Captain Abdullah - Markus, Senior Instructor at Bangladesh NDC (Navy), is comprised of student officers of Bangladesh Armed Forces and a student Officer from Nepal.
