presents some muchneeded Christmas Cheer!

-

You will also be treated to a skilful montage of all the songs that refer the Bells of Christmas, and a medley of pure nostalgia featuring “I’ll be home for Christmas.”

The Old Joes Choir

and The Menaka Singers will collaborate with the SOSL to present a number of traditional songs and carols in a very new light. They will perform beautifully evocative arrangements of Mary, Did you Know? O Come O Come Emmanuel and Do You Hear What I Hear, amongst others. Two talented singers,

Dmitri Gunatilake and Niran de Mel will enhance the programme with their solos, while combining on that perennial favourite, The Prayer.

Your toes will be tapping and your body swaying to a Latin beat, (just what you need to get you into the party mood) with a delightful selection of Latin arrangements including Agustín Lara’s Granada, Leroy Anderson’s Blue

Tango and a medley of Latin Gold from Paul Lavender.

The traditional finale of a sing-along of familiar carols makes this an ideal occasion for the whole family, young and old to start off your Christmas season and get into the holiday mood.

The Family Christmas concert is supported by Principal Sponsor Link Natural, with Co-sponsor Sampath Bank, Print Media Sponsor the Wijeya Newspapers Ltd, Electronic Media Sponsors Yes FM, TV1 and Legends 96.6 and Creative Partner, JWT.
