PAKISTAN ARMY’S SIGNAL CHIEF MEETS ARMY COMMANDER

The Signal Officer in Chief of the Pakistan Army, Major General Hafeez Ur Rehman currently in Sri Lanka to attend the Sri Lanka Signal Corps-organized Internatio­nal Symposium ‘Wave’ as a key contributo­r to the Sessions and the two-day long mega Exhibition at BMICH premises (Nov 28 - 29) paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake on Tuesday at the Army Headquarte­rs in Colombo.

Both of them held cordial discussion­s on matters of mutual interest and technologi­cal innovation­s on signalling sphere. Towards the end of the interactio­n, mementos were also exchanged, symbolizin­g the goodwill of both friendly forces.

Major General Ajith Wijesinghe, Military Secretary, Major General Nilantha Hettiarach­chi, Chief Signal Officer and Colonel Sajad Ali, Defence Attaché and two other Officers attended the meeting with the Commander of the Army.
