Rambukpotha the hero for STC Mount

Rahal Rambukpotha was the hero for S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia when they posted a one nil win over St. Thomas’ College, Matale to lay their hands on the Eric Hulangamuwa Challenge Trophy for the first time in their Annual Hockey fixture at the Astro Turf.

In the 14th minute of the game, Rambukpotha scored the first goal for Mount Lavinia and gave his side the win and the Trophy.

In the second session of play neither side was able to cross the other line and S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia were winners by virtue of the only goal of the match that was off the stick of Rambukpotha.
