First innings win for Antonians

Two top knocks from Avishka Tharindu and Arindha Pasindu along with two fine bowling performances from Don Romesh and Kaveesha Dulanjana helped St. Anthony’s College, Wattala record an easy first innings win against St. Sebastian’s College, Katuneriya in their Under-19 Inter-schools Cricket Tournament encounter which concluded at Katuneriya yesterday.

Meanwhile, a sevenwicket haul by Heshan Madusanka paved the way for Piliyandala Central to outclass Royal, Panadura by an innings and 41 runs in their match which ended at Piliyandala yesterday.
