Baked Cauliflower Nuggets
Hello friends, did you know that there are lots of different ways to eat cauliflower, and did you guess you could make them into nuggets? Well here’s a cool recipe for you to try! It’s healthy and yummy!
WHAT YOU NEED
1 small head cauliflower (about 350g)
1 egg
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp each of ground coriander, cumin, turmeric, salt, pepper and garlic powder
Olive oil
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
Preheat the oven to 190°c. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Cut cauliflower into small florets, place in microwave-safe bowl and cook in the microwave on high for 3 minutes or until soft.
Get an adult to help you with this step. Place cooked cauliflower in a food processor and crush into small pieces. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, cheese, herbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper until it forms a mixture.
Spoon tablespoons of the mixture onto a lined baking tray and shape into nuggets. Bake for 10 minutes before turning and baking for a further 10 minutes or until golden. Yummy!
