State, Deputy Minister posts defunct, says Samarasinghe

State and Deputy Ministers are not functioning anymore as their posts have been abolished under a caretaker government, Cabinet Spokesman and Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe said on Tuesday.

He told the weekly Cabinet news briefing that former State Minister of Media Keheliya Rambukwella, who was appointed as a co-cabinet spokesman, was no longer functioning in his post.
