History has tested our Constitution

Whoever assumes power the UNP block vote needs to be a factor for Good Governance. The Yahapalana regime was initiated to bring stability to the Governance. this was done taking into interest foreign investment. The Constitution which was inked during the J.rjayewardene regime was accepted by the masses. History tested this Constitution. A political analysis done regarding this document will help identify the loopholes.the Constitution has created minority Governments and stable Governments to give the voter the assurance of political stability to do his or her business like in the French Constitution has assured the French people.the Cabinet is also subject to frequent changes, following elections. assets of the Govt. need to be secured. Let sanity prevail among our leaders since they are well aware of the provincial and central politics. they must be mindful in what they do in terms of passing laws. I suggest that we have a Parliamentarian chamber that could accommodate only 101 members. they must abolish the Provincial and Local Government legislatures because they make no sense.
