Rain hampers 28th MSBA League Basketball

Rain continued to harass the 28th MSBA League Basketball Tournament 2018, as four of its Finals were abandoned, on Wednesday (28) and Thursday (29) at the Sir Edward Henry Pedris Stadium.

On Wednesday, the Women’s

‘B’ Division final and the Men’s

‘D’ Division final were abandoned without a basket being scored.

On Thursday, the Men’s ‘B’ Division final had to be abandoned at half time and with it followed the Men’s ‘A’ Division Final.

In order to beat the rain, the MSBA Tournament Committee took a snap decision on Thursday to hold the four abandoned finals in one go today (1) at the Sri Lanka Air Force Indoor Courts, Baudhaloka Mawatha.
