National parties kneel down before Tamil parties:wanni MP
Says she was offered Rs.60 to Rs. 500 million
The national parties have come to a state of kneeling down before the Tamil parties today, Wanni District Parliamentarian Shanthi Sriskantharajah said. She also said that they offered her money ranging from Rs. 60 million to Rs. 500 million.
Shanthi Sriskandarajah made the above comment at an event held at Oddusuddan- Koolamurippu on Saturday.
Speaking further, she said that the situation had arisen today in the political history of Sri Lanka for the majority politicians who sidelined the Tamils as minority communities to kneel before them and she wondered whether Mahinda Rajapaksa would have ever thought that this situation would emerge.
“The National parties which sidelined the Tamils as minority communities are now depending on them and they have to ascend to power with the support of the TNA. I am unaware of the money offered to other members. However, they offered me a sum ranging from Rs. 60 million to Rs. 500 million,” Wanni District Parliamentarian Shanthi Sriskantharajah said.
