Global Feeder Shipping partners Ceyline Group in Colombo

Global Feeder Shipping LLC (GFS), the Dubai based feeder shipping giant will be represente­d by Ceyline Group in the hub port of Colombo with effect from the December 1, 2018.

The new GFS Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd office at the Ceyline Building in Colombo 03 was ceremoniou­sly declared open with the blessings of GFS Vice Chairman C.F. George.

Global Feeder Shipping is currently the second largest feeder operator in Colombo, transporti­ng volumes of over six thousand (6,000) TEUS weekly catering to almost all Main Line and NVOCC operators. GFS have a fleet of fifteen own ships, largest being a 6,500teu ship and operate about thirty along with partners.

Ceyline Group Executive Chairman Capt. Ajith Peiris said that he was honoured and grateful for the trust Global Feeder Shipping had placed in Ceyline and encouraged the new GFS Lanka team to take the operations in Colombo to greater heights.

The first vessel officially handled by the new GFS Lanka team will be on December 11, 2018.
