Loyola crush St. Mary’s by innings

Three fine bowling performances by Jayanga Nirmal, who ended with a match bag of seven wickets, Sanjana Jansa and Ramith Perera along with half tons from Brendon Fernando and Nadeesha Rajakaruna paved the way for Loyola College Negombo to record an innings and 30-run win over St. Mary’s College Kegalle in a second round match of the Under 13 inter-school cricket encounter played at Polgahawela.

In the other matches that were played St. Joseph’s College Colombo, Thurstan College, St. Peter’s College and Wadduwa Central recorded first innings wins against St. Thomas’ College Matara, Richmond College, Vidura College Thalawathugoda and St. Aloysius’ College Ratnapura.
