Marvel Studios has released a new poster for their highly-anticipated superhero adventure

Captain Marvel, and revealed when the second trailer will debut.

The Captain Marvel Twitter debuted the new poster, while also revealing the new trailer will debut on Monday during ESPN’S Monday Night Football.

The first trailer for Captain Marvel was released in mid-september, getting a whopping 109 million views in the first 24 hours of release. The poster features Brie Larson in her full Captain Marvel costume, with a powerful aura swirling all around her.

It also showcases a number of Air Force planes on her right and a number of Kree spaceships on her left. This duality is very relevant since Carol Danvers was an Air Force pilot whose DNA was infused with the alien Kree DNA after an explosion. This explosion gave her powers like superhuman strength and the ability to fly, making her one of the most powerful heroes in the galaxy.

Imbued with these incredible powers, Danvers joins Starforce, an elite Kree military force, but questions about her past remain. She ultimately returns home to find Earth is torn by a conflict between two alien races, the Kree and the Skrulls. Larson leads an all-star cast that includes Jude Law as Walter Lawson, a.k.a.
