Programme to invoke blessings on Speaker

A programme was launched by All Ceylon Democratic Organizations Collective to invoke blessings on Speaker Karu Jayasuriya for his brave and candid decision to protect democracy in the country in the face of mounting pressure brought on by the prevailing political crisis in the country.

A large gathering participated in the event and Convener of the Collective Jagath Ananda De Silva addressed the crowd. It’s Secretary, M.W. Thilakaratna, Pradeshiya Sabha Member M. Gnanapala, Committee Member Chamila Bandara, Hettigoda, Anil Senaviratna and Rajendran also participated in this event.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, thirty Audio Visual Aids were distributed among the hearing impaired.
