Leave in the names of “Tis Thun Kotiyak Deviyo”: UPFA to Ranil

A day after UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe urged the government to resign in the names of ‘Hatharwaran Deviyan’, the UPFA yesterday urged Mr. wickremesinghe to leave in the names ‘Tis Thun Kotiyak Deviyo’.

Addressing a news briefing, MP C.b.ratnayake who was one of the 48 parliamentarians prevented from acting as ministers by the appeal court interim order said he is not certain whether Mr. Wickremesinghe knows who exactly ‘Hatharwaran Deviyos’ are.

“As someone hailing from a rural area, we are familiar with ‘Tis Thun Kotiyak Deviyo’. People should be given an election to send Ranil Wickremesinghe and the UNP home in the names of ‘Tis Thun Kotiyak Deviyo,” he said.
