Agabby purohita of the ousted regime had aimed a barb at a party senior at the Diyawanna Green group meeting the other day.

The gabby politico hailing from an area immediately South of Colombo district had charged that this party senior was making deals with the bigwigs of the disputed regime on the sly.

The popular Saji who had instantly realized that the gabby one was sniping at him had given him a hard-hitting reply.

He had asked:

“If I turned down the premiership when it was offered to me 10 times, does it mean I was having secret deals with them?” he had asked.

He also had asked whether the gabby politico knew that the post was offered to another party senior 17 times, but the latter had turned it down.

After getting the scathing reply, the gabby one quickly changed the subject, they say.
