Rain spoiled play in the limited over fixture between Wesley College and the touring Nudgee College, Queensland, Australia at Campbell Park.

Batting first, the Wesleyites rattled up 296 for the loss of eight wickets in their quota of overs.

The tourists were tottering at 109 for seven wickets when play had to be called off at 3.45pm due to a heavy downpour.

The visitors are the guests of Butterfly Vacations who are also the ground handlers and transport agents for the team.

Nudgee College 109/7 in 13 overs Sub Head: St. Joseph’s win by 9 wickets

St. Joseph’s College defeated the visiting Nudgee College ‘A’ team from Australia by nine wickets in a limited over match at the MCA Grounds, Colombo 7.

Taking First lease of the MCA turf, Nudgee College were wrapped up for 118 and the Josephians coasted home with nine wickets to spare.
