Navy wins the National Wrestling Championship for the 18th consecutive year

The National Wrestling Championship which was organised by the National Wrestling Federation, was held at the Jeyaraj Fernandopulle Indoor Stadium in Kadolkele, Negombo from December 4-6 2018.

The Sri Lanka Navy Wrestling team who exhibited exceptional talents throughout the games won the National Wrestling Championship-2018 marking their name in the history as the team who secured this title for the 18th consecutive year.

Sri Lanka Navy team won four Gold, three Silver and five Bronze medals to secure the overall championship trouncing a large number of sports clubs in the island including SL Army, SL Air Force and SL Police.
