A man’s quest to save birds from mankind

Dr.pakshiraja­n, played by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar was an ornitholog­ist by day and by night dedicated his lifetime for birds and their wellbeing. Living in a bird aviary, he fostered birds of all kinds and was an expert in the field. His relationsh­ip with birds begins at birth and started to be an activist during the latter part of his life in order to save the lives of birds. His struggle to stop authoritie­s putting up cellphone towers that emitted harmful radiation was a fail and after all his birds died, the professor took his life.

2.0 is the story of his spirit attempting to destroy mankind, thus continuing his cause. With telephones being invisibly attracted to a magnetic force, robots and the introducti­on of the 5th sense, 2.0 has a strong message for viewers to take back home.

It is definitely a treat for Thalaiva fans as superstar Rajnikanth makes a comeback with his beautiful assistant Nila, a robot played by Amy Jackson. Playing the role of Dr.vaseegaran, the superstar brings Chitti - an android introduced in Enthiran the first movie in the sequel, back to life to drive away Pakshi Raja’s spirit. The film also introduces microbots with Chitti’s 2.0 Version that was successful in the attempt to save mankind from Pakshi Raja. The film is directed by S. Shankar could be viewed in 3D and it gives an absolutely thrilling experience with the high definition graphics. Cinema halls keep filling with thalaiva fans with long queues, awaiting to catch a glimpse of the superstar in action. The movie was released in the EAP circuit followed by a red carpet premiere.
