Presidential poll, the answer to present crisis
The present constitutional crisis arose as a result of appointing a Prime Minister who didn’t command a simple majority in the Parliament. It appears to be a gamble that backfired. Probably they thought that they could buy over some MP’S and show 113 in the Parliament.
This clearly shows that at the time of MR’S appointment, they did not have 113 which was a violation of the Constitution. The remedial damage-control action prorogation and subsequent dissolution were worse than the disease which has brought the country to a standstill. Therefore what the country needs today is not a general election, but a Presidential election.
